The curriculum has been designed and developed in collaboration with industry experts and academicians. The program offers specialisation in General Insurance as well as Life Insurance with emphasis on legal aspects and risk management involved in the insurance sector.

  • Bachelor degree holder / Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.
  • International/SAARC Graduates from a recognised/accredited University/Institution.
  • Students who have appeared for final year of examination of their bachelor's degree program and are awaiting results can also apply, subject to successfully completing their bachelor's degree program / graduation within the time period specified by SCDL.

  • The duration of the program is Two years.
  • The registration period is valid for four academic years.

Note: Semester I & Semester IV are common for both Specialisations. And the curriculum of the program is based on the Indian Legal System practices and applications of Life Insurance in India.

    Application Form Fees (Non-refundable):
  • For Indian Residents (General / Defence): ₹ 1200/-
  • International / SAARC: US $100 OR Rs. 7,200/-

Program Fees: Students have two options of paying the fees as mentioned below:
A] Option 1 – Two-Installments: Student has to pay the course fees in two installments as follows:

Category 1st Installment - Pay within 15 days
from the date of admission
2nd Installment - Pay within 60 days from the
date of payment of 1st Installment

B] Option 2 - One Time Payment:- Student has to pay the full course fees in one time payment, within 30 days from the date of admission as follows:

  • General: ₹ 50,000/-
  • Defence / Paramilitary / Police: ₹ 47,000/-
  • International : US $2400
  • SAARC : US $1300

    Note: Participants are required to pay exam fees per exam per attempt separately. Exam Fee is not a part of Program Fee.

    Fee Payment Mode: Fees can be paid Online or by Demand Draft.
  • Payment via Online: this can be done through payment gateway.
  • Payment via DD: this can be submitted at SCDL Pune campus. The Demand Draft needs to be in favor of "The Director, SCDL, Pune" payable at Pune only.
